How We Show Up

Four ways we make good trouble.

01 / Protests & Rallies

Make Our Voices Heard

From local marches to coordinated days of action, we turn out in numbers that can't be ignored. Public protest is one of the clearest ways to send a message — and to remind each other we're not alone. We collaborate closely with neighboring Indivisible chapters, especially Stamford and Westport, to amplify our reach across Fairfield County.

02 / Advocacy & Policy Reform

Pressure for Change

We push elected officials to champion the policies our community needs — from defending immigrants and protecting the environment to economic fairness, civil rights, and beyond. Calls, letters, town halls, and direct meetings: we use every channel to advocate for the change we want to see.

03 / Public Outreach

Grow the Movement

Tabling, community events, and conversations with neighbors. We meet people where they are, share what's at stake, and bring more voices into the work. As elections approach, we ramp up get-out-the-vote efforts and, when the moment calls for it, campaign for progressive candidates in competitive races. A bigger tent means a stronger democracy.

04 / Mutual Aid

Take Care of Each Other

Direct support for neighbors in need — solidarity, not charity. Rather than building a separate system, we plug into and support the local community groups already doing this work in Norwalk, lifting up the organizations that have long been driving mutual aid here. Caring for one another is the foundation of every movement.

Our work is about keeping you informed and creating space for everyone to take part — in whatever way fits your life right now. There's no minimum commitment and no expectation to do everything. Show up where you can; we'll meet you there.
